At Westwego Swamp Boat Tours, we provide our guests a total environmental and ecological experience to enjoy the magic that exists in this environment unique in the entire world. 

In advance of each tour, and at no additional cost, we provide an ecology/naturalist presentation where we introduce you to things that reflect the mysterious eco-nature of the swamp environment. Our swampland is currently disappearing at the rate of one football field an hour, and we are very concerned with maintaining this wonderful resource and ecosystem. 

Since we have special exhibit permits to house and care for wild animals, we will also show you first hand live animals such as Swamp Owls, Birds of Prey, and even give you the opportunity to hold a baby alligator in your hand! Experience the mysterious and wonderful elements of our magical ecosystem.

This is followed by the best swamp tour in the business, conducted by genuine Cajun captains who live, hunt and fish in this magical environment.
